We explore the 5 things we need to know to get the best out of the 12 Powers. The 12 Powers are 12 Divine Ideas and we can also call them 12 Principles. In our Divinity they are ABSOLUTE and ideal. In our humanity we experience them as innate abilities that we use to manifest our personalities and our bodies.
This is our concluding episode about Premises! We explore prayer and how we use it to condition our minds. We also explore the “Christ” or seeing the DIVINE in others. Not only do we put God – our DIVINITY – first in us but we also must put the other person’s DIVINITY first too.

In this episode as we continue our deeper dive into Unity’s Premises we begin exploring the Premises about Practices. And what could be more Unity like than a deep dive into denials (releases) and affirmations (assertions) and how to really use them! Emilie Cady called it the constant repetition of TRUTH to unclothe the mind and to clothe it anew. Today we could say uninstalling unwanted beliefs while installing new ones! It is not a one and done thing!
We continue our deep dive into the Premises! This week we went some interesting places around the concept that everything that changes is “underwritten by” unchanging DIVINE IDEAS. The importance of discerning whether something is changeable or not as well as whether we can actually change something cannot be over-estimated! All material things represent SPIRITUAL REALITIES! There is also one of our favorite quotes from Myrtle Fillmore on prayer.
This podcast focuses in on how we are each the King or Queen (Both?!) of our own consciousness … our own thoughts and feelings. We could say we have sole … soul dominion! We also explore how everything that changes is fundamentally based on PRINCIPLES! Along the way, we get into implicate and explicate orders!
Wow! A discussion of the premises related to demonstration would not be complete without delving into the stumbling blocks and obstacles! Sure there may be outer obstacles. However, it is what we think and feel about them that are the most impactful ones!
Wow! What a romp we had continuing with the premises of manifestation and demonstration! This is a deep dive where we explore the qualities of PRINICPLES and spar a bit around synonyms for the word, “consequences!” All in all, a good set of concepts that can be applied to a metaphysical approach to life!
We are continuing our “deeper dive” of Unity Premises focusing on demonstration and the ins and out of manifestation. In the process, we identify a couple “new” premises we could explore in 2021. One has to do with how we are each meaning makers onto ourselves. Along the same lines we can add, each person builds his or her inner world.
