Remembering Paul

There are not enough words to express the shock and sense of loss we are feeling, as we are still wrapping our heads (and hearts) around the sudden, unexpected death of Paul Hasselbeck, our dear and cherished friend (that word doesn’t even begin to capture the true essence of the relationship we had with Paul)! Since the moment we stepped into his Metaphysics class back in 2003, our energies connected and we knew the three of us would be in for lots of incredible adventures together! Through the years, the three of us have co-authored books; co-facilitated classes and retreats, including our “once-a-year Around the Kitchen Table” Spiritual Think Tank retreat; co-hosted a show on Unity radio and then a podcast show called Metaphysical Romp 2; spent endless hours of deep dive conversations around lots of kitchen tables and in our personal Zoom room; shared laughter that sometimes brought us to hilarious tears (especially laughing at ourselves); challenging each other’s beliefs and understandings; shared great food together (including variations of ice cream and frozen yogurt); shared resources and cooked up quirky new ideas–including new words; and supported each other as we navigated through all of life’s skin school experiences. Wow — that is just the tip of the iceberg!
